BTW- Christine has also just turned the big 40, so please wish her a happy birthday and send some much needed cheer her way.
HELP! If anyone has been doing some great craft or art please send me the info and pics; I need some motivation and inspiration to get myself back into the inspirational flow. When my back was turned or I was busy with other things I dropped it somewhere and can't remember where.
I've been crazy preoccupied lately but hope to start posting regularly soon. It's only February but already I'm getting the itch for Spring! I love snow but these dreary cold and grey days are just killing me. I get so sluggish and unmotivated. Anyone else know what I mean?
If you send me anything I will post it on here, it may send out waves of inspiration all across the land! .............Or at least help me. : )

Come celebrate TO-PUT-OFF-UNTIL-TOMORROW TUESDAY!
It is officially TO-PUT-OFF-UNTIL-TOMORROW TUESDAY. It is at my house, anyway. Here is a list of some of the things I've been forced to put off until tomorrow:
1. the last load of laundry
2. dinner dishes
3. putting my enormous amount of photos in frames
4. hanging that big mirror that weighs a ton and has been leaning against the wall since we moved in (I promised myself it would get hung today)
5. painting items to sell (ditto-see above)
6. writing work for The Treasure Hunters
7. van registration- already too late in the day to call the DMV office to resolve address change issue
I've been so sick today, allergies, sinus pain and pressure, nose like a faucet, sorry TMI (too much info). The baby was unusually needy today (even for her). I had to wash the couch cover AGAIN, because I was too busy writing things up for our website to notice that she was sitting on it way too long watching (being hypnotised by) T.V. and not being reminded that "YES, you DO need to make a trip to the potty, missy". Two truck loads of wood needed to be unloaded and stacked for splitting after Hubby got out of work and I found out right before 4 o'clock that I had to bring pizza over to the school so the girls would have dinner at their practice; someone forgot to mention that yesterday or this morning....geez. I'm writing this quickly before I go back over to the school for the kid's parent band conference and performance. And...I've got to leave in a few. Well, that's why I decided that today is :TO-PUT-OFF-UNTIL-TOMORROW TUESDAY.
Meet me tomorrow...we'll be celebrating WHY-NOT-WAIT -UNTIL-IT'S-NOT-SO-WARM-OR-WHENEVER WEDNESDAY

It wouldn't hurt to go back to Pre-school
We moved the potty from the living room to the bathroom to get Baby used to the idea of using the bathroom; and because, frankly, we weren't thrilled of the graphic visual images and fragrant scents we were living with for a few months. Also, it was mildly (horribly) shocking to our guests, too.
Well, Baby said she needed to go. And because I was a little occupied, I directed her to the bathroom and sent her on her way to do what she had to do independently- she's good at pulling down pants and wiping after herself. My intentions were to follow behind in another minute to help with checking the bottom, hand washing and disposing of the dirty deed/job well done/outcome, etc. Well, ya know how it goes, guess I wasn't speedy enough because out she came, standing at the end of the hall yelling to me, "I dump the poopy". Uh, oh! Quickly I called, "No, mommy will dump the poopy!" as I ran towards her. "No, I dump the poopy!" she retorted. "No, I dump the poopy!", blasted desperately from my suddenly-two-year-old mouth as I reached her. She turned and ran toward the bathroom and we raced each other there. We were neck and neck as we got to the little pink throne. "See, I dump the poopy", she said. I looked in shock from her potty to the toilet, then burst out laughing. She had dumped the potty herself! And only a few drops had fallen on the seat. Whew. I started breathing again. It's amazing that sometimes your great efforts to raise and teach your children to be responsible, independent and accountable really do come to fruition in small doses. Even when the child is two and their greatest responsibilities are to not fall when they run, to get to the potty on time, and to not pull the cat's tail.
Now, if only I could get myself to follow her lead; I might get done what I'm supposed to get done today.
Wish me luck, I need it.

Thank you, Darling!
Today I was planning on focusing on cleaning, laundry, wiping my littlest one's bottom and pretty much "home" stuff. Then with the little bit of time left over *laugh* I was going to work on getting items ready for sale. Well, I really wanted to see what Christine thought of my new profile and Blogspot so I gave her a ring. She checked it out, while on the phone, and on the spot decided I needed a new header. I sent her the picture I was using for my profile pic and then in, what seemed to me warp speed created not one but SIX choices for a header!! I told you she is an amazing woman, didn't I? (see prior post) Then this super-hero of a woman did what no creature has tried before (no one else had the guts): walked me through a revamping of my site. Now, I know what your thinking: what's the big deal, anyone can figure out how to go about putting up a nice Blogspot. Well, not this "anyone". I just don't have the focus and the time to figure out anything but the basics. My site would have been boring and ordinary without her beautiful header and the little tricks she showed me that would have had me pulling my hair out within 15 minutes had I tried on my own. She saved me hours *cough* (days) of time and now I don't even have a migraine! I just had to give a shout-out to Blogger land, in the hopes that she will be sent Kudos on a job well done and for being such a loving and HIGHLY PATIENT girl. Thank you, Christine!

Yippee! We are up and running...almost!!

Yuh-ay-eee!!!, I am sooooo happy to be starting The Treasure Hunters with Christine, my most awesome and coolest-creative friend. She has such passion for what she does and I couldn't be happier than being a partner with her. This past year has shown itself to be trying for both of us and we both have felt on more than one occasion that we may have to stop doing what we love. We still have some things to polish up but we have started with a fresh outlook and renewed purpose. I know I am proud of her, she's an amazing woman and my dearest friend. Stop over and visit her and give her some kudos for the wonderful graphics she created for our site and her own. She has her own graphics site and other spaces so be sure to check them out, too.
Hope you love our new site, it's going to be great!
